There are two ways to reach Lanyu: 1. By air: Fly from Taitung Fengnian Airport with Daily Air Corporation, about 25-30 minutes to Lanyu Airport. 2. By ferry: Take a ferry from Taitung Fugang Harbor, about 2-2.5 hours to Lanyu Kaiyuan Harbor. During peak season (Apr-Sep), ferries also run from Hengchun Houbihu.

Yes! We offer free airport/harbor pickup service. Please inform us of your flight or ferry details in advance, and we'll arrange someone to meet you.

Lanyu's circumference is about 37 km. The most common transportation is renting a scooter (about NT$500/day). We can help arrange scooter rental. You can also cycle or join a guided island tour.

Lanyu's transportation is heavily affected by weather. If typhoons or bad weather cause cancellations: 1. Deposits can be fully refunded or rescheduled 2. We'll help you rearrange your itinerary 3. We recommend purchasing travel insurance

Lanyu is great year-round, each season with its charm: • Apr-Jun: Flying fish season, experience traditional fishing culture • Jun-Sep: Best water sports season, crystal-clear waters • Oct-Mar: Fewer tourists, ideal for those seeking tranquility We recommend Apr-Sep for stable weather and abundant water activities.

Typhoon season is roughly Jul-Sep. There's always advance warning before typhoons, and flights/ferries will be suspended early. Tips: 1. Monitor weather forecasts closely 2. Purchase travel insurance 3. Allow flexible travel days In case of typhoon, deposits can be fully refunded or rescheduled.
